Decorated Trains in Japan

While most trains in the US keep it simple with a all white or grey colorway the Japanese decided a little something extra should be done to their trains. There are many trains running through Japan’s 20,000-kilometer (12,000-mile) rail network so they figured at least a couple should stand out. They have everything from manga characters, colorful ads and designs created by artist painted on them. I think it would be pretty nice to be walking through DC and see a Spider Man train ride by or at least some unique design on the side of the train. Take a look at some more designs below or you can head over to Pink Tentacle and check out a lot more.
