Nike SB Spring 2010 Dunk Hi Quickstrike “Booom”

nike-sb-dunk-hi-booom-quickstrike2010 is a couple of days away, and what better way to start off the year than with a Bang! According to Nike, a better way to start it would be with a  “Booom.” Here we have the Nike SB Spring 2010 Dunk Hi Quickstrike “Booom.” With this being the first Quickstrike of the upcoming year, we’re sure it will only get better from here.

These kicks are definitely not simple, mixing a variety of colors, but are done tastefully right. The toe box, side panel, and ankle area are done in black leather, with the toe guard, and the ankle strap coming in blue leather. The rest of the shoe gets a red inner lining, red laces, and a red Nike Swoosh, with white lace holders, a yellow heel tab, and a yellow “Booom” explosion behind the Nike Swoosh. To finish off the shoe, a white mid sole sits on top of a blue sole. Stay tuned for a release date.

    For the construction of the upper, tongue and inner lining Nike Sportswear went with a mesh material, applying black to the frontal, lace panels and heel/wing panel with purple on the mid-panel and around the ankle. Hits of a “golden rod” come into play on the leather Nike Swoosh and on the mesh inner lining with accents of volt yellow on the laces. Finishing up the sneakers is a solid white mid-sole, a gum outsole and a Zoom Air cushioning unit as an extra bonus.
