It’s been a while since we’ve seen PUMA release a pair of sneaker. Today we’re lucky enough to get a first look at the PUMA Spring 2010 Mesh Pack, which will include the R698 model. We really like what PUMA has done with these kicks as they kept it simple with the two-toned colorway. Although we feel the colors they used are tasteful we’re not a fan of the details they’ve included such as the suede paneling.

As stated above, the R698 model is introduced to us in two, two-toned colorways such as black/blue and black/purple. Both colorways include a black mesh upper, along with colored accents found on the side-panel, heel, tongue, and mid-sole. Materials included on the sneakers are suede, mesh, leather, and the very well known, 3M detailing which we’re used to seeing from New Balance. No official release date as of yet but look for these to release at select PUMA Retailers in the next couple of weeks.
