For their most recent release the Converse team has switched up their Converse Chuck Taylor Hi a bit. Usually we see a canvas upper on Chucks but this time they decided to go with a heavy heather grey cotton giving it a sweatshirt style. The entire sneaker is featured in grey with a white midsole and red line across the top of the midsole which gives the sneaker a nice touch. Converse gives us a peak at their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection which will consist of the Chuck Taylor High “Felt” Pack. The pack will consist of two sneaker in two different colorways, both which include a felt upper. The first sneaker features a beige upper, along with a rubber black sole. The second sneaker includes a solid black upper and sole. Look for the pack to release soon at Converse retailers. More pictures available after the jump.

Converse continues their music collaboration. This time they collaborate with The Grateful Dead. Most of the sneakers in this collaboration include a fruity text design, nothing we’re a fan of but still works for some people. Look for these to release soon.

Here we have a very simple and affordable sneaker from Converse. These kicks are great as a summer beater, and here is the Converse Coolidge. These kicks come in two colorways, in a black and white or a charcoal and orange. Both shoes feature a tiger stripe like design in the heel area, as well as the Converse logo on the side panels. Converse Japan has given us a first look at what we can expect to release this May 2009. The collection consist of many great sneakers such as the Jack Purcell, All Star Upside-Mono Hi, All Star Upside-Mono Lo, and much more. All of them come in various colorways so picking one shouldn’t be much of a problem. Our favorite has to be the Jack Purcell, the mesh between camouflage and a white sole can do wonders. Converse gives us a look at their ERX 300. The sneaker is introduced to us in very light colors such as white and orange. The white color is very dominant, taking up most of the sneaker, and some orange found on the laces aswell as the tongue of the sneaker. Probably one of the best Converse sneakers we’ve seen up to date. The sneaker goes on for a low price of $80, a good price for this economy.

Here we have a pair of Converse that steer away from their norm, with the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Metallic Croc Skin.” The kicks are different from the usual Converse’s because these are using real croc skin, with a gradient finish to give it a two tone look. These will be available exclusively in France this month at around $260.

Here we have another collaboration that will get some attention with the Selfridges x Converse Selfridge Centenary Pantone 109. With the celebration of their 100th year, British retailer Selfridges will be teaming up with Converse to bring out their exclusive edition of the Pantone 109. The kicks will come in a yellow Pantone upper, with black patent leather accents as well as a white rubber sole. These will be available o May 1st in limited quantities at Selfridges retailers.

This year, Converse released their first ever line of skateboarding shoes, and here we have three new colorways of their more popular CTS (Chuck Taylor Skateboarding) OX. The three new colorways include orange, olive green, and black, all coming with a white mid sole. These three colorways are now available at select Converse retailers.
