It’s been a while since we brought to you any new updates with BAPE so here we have for you a preview of there Fall/Winter 2008 Collection. There are four pairs of sneakers in this collection and are currently available at a couple of Flagship stores world wide so if you live close to one make sure to pick one of these up. I’ve always felt that BAPE could do a much better job creating color ways for there BAPES and still feel that way after seeing this release. That’s just me though.

BAPE x Spongebob Squarepants Bapestas

Really BAPE are you guys running out of ideas? Nigo has decided to make a Spongebob collaboration with a pair of Bapestas and I think it is a funny concept and its cool to see a pair of Spongebob BAPES but they are pretty ugly. I know these will sell though just because BAPE has designed them as well as the fact that there are many Spongebob fans out there. The entire shoe is a yellow patent leather with spongebobs face on the heel of the shoe. Ugly pair of BAPES but they will sell for sure so enjoy. Oh and if anyone catches a pic of someone wearing these PLEASE PLEASE email it to us, Thanks =).

Bape Tracksta

Today we will be introducing you to the Bape Tracksta that come in three colorways. The first color scheme is green, white, and red which reminds me of Christmas… The second is which is yellow, blue, and green which reminds me of Sprite… Finally the last one is red, white, and blue which reminds me of well, nothing. These shoes will be releasing in Hong Kong tommorow so get your hands on them!!!

Bape Roadsta A/W 2008 Suede Pack

BAPE has just released its Bape Roadsta A/W 2008 Suede Pack and I feel like they should be taking a little bit more time while designing their shoes and picking out which materials to use as well as the color ways. This pack consist of patent leather suede on each sneaker and they kept their traditional sole to complete the ugliness of this pack. I guess the black ones are ok but I still wouldn’t get them. They are currently available for any BAPE fans who feel like they should get them.

BAPE Tracksta

It’s been a while since BAPE has made any new releases but now available are the BAPE Trackstas. These will be releasing in five different color ways. I expected a little better from BAPE with this release but the white and black pair doesn’t look that bad. These are currently available at all BAPE retailers and will be retailing for 11,340 yen which is about 106 US dollars.

Bape Summer Releases July 2008

Here is a quick line up of whats to come from BAPE for the month of July. This includes a couple tees, a hat, key chain, and glasses. The key chain is nice but it would be better if they used a different colorway. The logos on the T-Shirt bring back some of the classic designs BAPE used when they first created their brand. They will also be releasing a pair of Bapesta 88′s in the month of July. Below are some bigger pictures of the releases.

Bathing Ape Water Shoes

BAPE has recently expanded to the water shoes market. They have just released a pair of water shoes that are currently available in four different color ways. They have the BAPE Logo on the upper part and their own design coming up from the sole. A lot of people use water shoes while surfing, kayaking or even just to get in the water so that their feet doesn’t touch the corals or rocks on the bottom of the ocean.

I do a lot of water sports so I’m thinking of picking myself up a pair. Add a little BAPE style to the water sport community. They are currently available and are retailing for 7,140 yen which is about 67 American dollars. Get them now at BAPE.com.

A Bathing Ape Dot Bapesta

A Bathing Ape has done it again. Bape has just released a shoe filled with bright colors perfect for the warm summer. This latest creation uses the same Bape foundation, but is “dotted” with colors akin to skittles as well as a neon green sole to round out the base.

BAPE has released two new classic color schemes that never seem to fail to grab the attention of its customer. Their all white pair of Bape Roadstas are simple yet stylish. The black and white pair are nice as well adding a sleek and stylish look to your outfit. I would go for the all white ones to replace my old beat up air force ones.
