Today we get some new images of the collaboration between Concepts and New Balance. Together both brands have decided to work on the New Balance 999. The sneaker comes to us in some fairly light colorways such as white and grey, done in mostly mesh. The sneaker is inspired by the late president John F. Kennedy, who loved outdoor activities such as sailing. They’ve taken that “Concept” and decided to use it upon the sneaker. Look for these to drop at CNCPTS on April 2nd. A sneaker that looks like it will do very well at its release

“Frank Rivera at Concepts in Cambridge has given us the scoop on his nifty New Balance 999s, which were designed to reflect President John F. Kennedy’s love for New England’s sailing history. Trimmed in classical red, white and blue (with tan highlights), there’s a host of tiny details including nylon paneling and CNCPTS flag logos, and the shoes come with a mesh bag that should be ideal to drain anything that tips overboard. “

Here we have a collaboration between Concepts and Nike SB. We were recently introduced to the “Blue Lobster” a couple weeks ago and while that was being released many people had sighted the “Yellow Lobster” Dunk SB. Although I must admit I’m feeling the blue ones a bit more, the yellow’s colorway has still caught my eye. No official release date as of yet but we hope to see them release soon.
